Certification Levels and Qualification Requirements There are three levels of certification: Master, Senior and Associate. The master rating is the highest attainable status and certifies that the individual possesses the knowledge and skills to effectively manage comprehensive safety and health programs. Applicants who are initially certified at the Senior or Associate level will be counseled on the additional experience and education required to upgrade their status. To qualify for the Master level requires an extensive background of education, experience and professional achievement.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Master level: 4 years experience
and a Baccalaureate Degree. Education degrees must be from accredited institutions. Degrees related directly to hazard control disciplines will receive extra qualifying credit.
